Les Paul Less Plus

I tried a 2015 Les Paul Less Plus. Its the skinny Les Paul and it has a wide neck for the shredders and benders. It also has three knobs and a switch where the bridge tone knob would be...

It sounds legit and the finish and parts look nice. I like.

But I don't seem to like that wide neck especially at position 12 fret down there. Plus its kind of a beefy neck.

Whats a model that has a narrow neck?

All of the 2015s have that wide neck. You're going to have to go for a 2014 or older. The best thing to do is find and play as many as you can before you choose. That's what I did and got a killer 2014 Traditional Pro II.

I think they left the LEs Paul Traditionals normal and didn't add the new nut and the 0.5 mm or what ever it was to the fretboard

Traditionally, the models with the thinner neck were the LP Classic 60, '61 SG Reissue, and most ES-335's.

Nowadays, many of Gibson's popular models come with a "50's neck" or the slimmer "60's neck."

You'll have to either go custom shop, or buy used 2014 and earlier. Or wait till next year......idk if Gibson will keep the specs or change them for 2016?? Have to wait and see if the sales are good enough or not for '15

Re: Les Paul Less Plus

They did because it's the last known picture of Les while he was alive....and also to throw off all the knock offs
