les paul suggestions?

i've decided to upgrade the pickups in both my SG standard and Les Paul classic. i'm going to go with WCR fillmores for the SG, but i'm still undecided about the paul. i've narrowed it down to WCR darkbursts and a covered pearly gates set. which would you choose? i'm looking for a zeppelin-esque tone, kinda bright but thick and warm at the same time. i play through a vintage orange half stack. thanks guys.

o yeah..if you dont mind...could please tell me why you'd select one over the other? this is a tough choice involving a lot of money, so i want to be thorough. thanks!

yeah i know. it's been really tough just narrowing it down to 2. i chose the PG's and the darkbursts because they both seem like hotter PAFs that are a bit on the bright side, which is what i'm looking for.

i'm starting to lean towards the PG's too. they cost less and many people around here think they're THE les paul pickup. my new wine red baby is gonna get some pearly gates.

i've decided to go with darkbursts instead of fillmores in my sg, and a set of covered pearly gates in my les paul. that should sound quite killer.
