I don't tend to like V's but that maple board really classes that thing up. What's with the plastic covering on the lower wing?

Sheet! You do have rather a lot of them.

I only have one - an LTD EC-401w. I junked the EMGs and installed Seymour Duncan Live Wire Classic IIs. From a distance, my guitar looks exactly the same as it did with EMGs so I shall not bother posting any photographs.

Still would like to see it..how do you like the Live Wire Classic II's?

On old Vs the input jack would have been there. KK had his removed and put inside the V. So they put the plastic cover over the hole..

Someday I'll have an ESP Lynch Serpent (B&W). That is the closest I can come to contributing to this thread.

after having both the 81 and 85 in the bridge, im verging on ditching the EMGs as well. just not my thing really. im thinking either going for some low output passives or going in the complete opposite direction and going for the dave mustaine livewires
