Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

Got fed up with too many options on the main board so been swapping stuff out to end up with this for now

The Broadcast is great, I’ve been considering one forever to have some dynamic gain before my compressor. How do you use it?

Revamped the home board today.

I lost the wah, the 805, added a looper, which I will run through the loop, and added a mini klon clone.
I also put my chorus pedal back on in case I need it some day...

Looks like you have a love/hate relationship with the 805 lol

My board and rig at Church as of now. Boss CS 3 and Wampler Tuminus in the front of the amp and a Boss DD7 and Neunaber Seraphim into the loop, the amp is a 1991 Carvin X 50 B Hot Rod Mod head, I'm running a Blackstar 1/12 cab loaded with a old early 90's GT 75 miced with a SM 57 in a room off stage.

The Tumnus is great. Do you run your amp at the edge of breakup and use the Tumnus for gain or do you go between channels and the Tumnus for an extra push?

I’ve only recently got it so just getting a feel for it at the moment. So far I like it into an amp on the edge of break up or even moderate crunch, it’s pretty cool and adds that extra grit and raunch. Actually not too dissimilar to my Keeley Time Machine Boost but different enough if you know what I mean. So far I’m only running on 9v but I will get a 18v power source soon as it’s supposed to give more clarity and headroom.

I do love it. But yes it's on and off the board more than any other pedal. It's great, and always a close second place to this stupid East River drive..... That thing just has the freqs I like.
I hear you. I the the ERD is a great TS. if you like it, you like it :)

Very cool. I’ve only played a clone that a friend built but I did try it at 9 and 18v and it did feel different, I hope you like that too.

And this is what I have right now. Bear in mind that live, I only play CCM in a couple of Churches, so I do not need a lot of flexibility. I’ve been simplifying and simplifying.

The HX Stomp is terrific but I feel like having the comp and reverb out is very handy and I definitely love the tone of the cali76 and cloudburst.

The Cali76 is at the beginning of the chain and the cloudburst is in the loop of the stomp. The plane pedal is a midi controller to call the snapshots, and use tap tempo and tuner. I go direct to PA.

Jeezus Bruce!

I have a lot going on because I have a lot going on. With the exception of the Liverpool and the Blue Box everything else on the board is being used in the studio. I will use the Liverpool and the Blue Box with the cover band tonight.

The action here is mostly under the hood. This is for the dual amp setup. The bottom left footswitch on the HX Effects switches between channels on the VHT via a control cable while also toggling the "Hedgehog D9" distortion going to the Traynor, and when the distortion pedal model is off, the same switch turns a reverb model on, so I have a nice spring reverb on the cleans. The next one over to the right, Poly Capo, is set for a fifth up on one amp only, and it really sounds like two guitars playing parallel fifths. Tracking is a little weird but playable. Next switch to the right turns on an OD for the VHT and two delays with different times, one for each side. The chorus is also only going to one amp.

The other cool thing is, I can swap a few cables around and change the patch on the HX and run my Traynor-based bass rig or my VHT in 4 cable mode.

That board is definitely you, though I am a bit surprised you do not have an EXP pedal.

I can't hook one up with this setup. I'm using both of the expression jacks for the VHT control cable. Unfortunately I need them both operational for the amp to do the right things.

Put this one together today to run with my Jet City JCA 22 head. Super simple board. Really works well with that amp! Still got to tidy up the cables but like this set up with this amp. Reorganizing all my boards over the next week or so.

Just sold the Tuminus as found it to be too stiff for the amps I was running it with. Replaced it with a Wampler Belle and like that much better. The Tuminus works best with something like a Fender Deluxe but didn't play well with my amps. Was running it on the amps clean side and using the Tuminus for a light breakup, but it just wasn't playing nice with my PRS Archon head or Boogie Subway Rocket. Like the feel of the Belle or my real Nobels much better with those amps.

is the puretone a buffer? dont most of those pedals already have buffers?

Some do some don't. I'm running 15 foot of cable to and from the loop and using that buffer is like taking a blanket off the amp tone wise. Trust me, it's a very noticeable difference in tone when you pull the buffer. My Zinky Velvet loop is set for rack mount effects by Bruce and any cable run to pedals really kills the tone., I started out trying the buffer on that amp. I however was shocked when I tried one on my other rigs at the tonal improvement. Now I run one on every board where I'm running pedals in the loop. It's like instantly taking a blanket off the amp with pedals in the loop, very noticeable tonal difference. Now sounds the same with the loop in and out even with everything off, as without the buffer there is a notable loss of sparkle and tone with a long cable run and several effects even if the pedals are buffered.

Put this together today. Basic board for my Jet City JCA 22H and or first Gen PRS Archon 50 head. Wampler ERGO and Belle OD into the front and running a Boss DD3 Delay and Newnaber Wet verb in the loop with 15 foot cables to the input and the loop. Have a pure Tone buffer in the loop and is all powered by a Gator Power 5. Simple straight forward board.
