Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

Huh. If you could have Bluetooth control over your whole pedalboard via midi and you could attach a controller like that to your guitar somehow (or have it built in), you could be totally wireless and do all the channel switching from wherever you want. That could be pretty cool.

so what is it?
M-Wave midi bluetooth controller.

I just built an headphones/practice rig based on Macbook and free Audio Unit plugins. This controller is doing a very good job for $40. Without thinking too much, I programmed clean/crunch/lead patches (switches 1-3 short press) + solo for each one (switch 1-3 long press). That left me with switch 4 for wah (short press) and tuner (long press).

I don't know if it's the guitar oriented circuit in the Axe IO but that's the first time my computer rig is rivalling my hardware modeler. NaLex Crunchman plugin (Friedman BE clone) is reaaaaaalllllly good (I mostly used it for low/medium gain).

Here's my virtual pedalboard: tuner -> wah -> tube screamer -> pre-eq -> amp sim -> cab sim -> delay -> reverb
Audio Router is used to split clean amp (Nembrini Crunck) vs dirt amp (NaLex Crunchman).
Kushview Element is a nice/free AU/VST host.

At $40 a piece, just throw one at each spot you want ;)
