Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

It’s built for DI but there is a pass thru to send to an amp. I only use it for DI at church. Sounds amazing thru the PA and in my IEMs.

Went completely digital last December. Slimmed dowm my arsenal from a Line 6 Helix Floor and a Hughes and Kettner Grandmeister 40 Deluxe ( and matching 1x12 cab).

Using a Fender FR-12 at the moment. These Hotone Ampero II Stage are a step up from a Line 6 HX Stomp XL, way more flexible.

The Helix is an awesome piece of gear, but it does far more than I need. And I'm not really missing valve amps, and especially the hassle and the weight.

I just got an FR-10. It is fantastic for digital pedals.

Indeed they are. I tried the Line 6 Powercab+ when I still owned the Helix, and it was an underwhelming experience. My current setup sounds so good that I considering getting a FR-10 to use at the house, while the FR-12 stays in the rehearsal room and gets some live action.

After a few weeks with the FR-10, I have no issue using it with my Fractal FM3 at live shows. It is loud, small, light, and sounds like a guitar amp.

Love the fulhher natural bass response of the FR-12 for rehearsal and playing live, but the 10 will be better suited for playing in the house. Just need need to get rid of the valve setup first!

Tuner and overdrive to the Simplifier input. Delay and reverb in the effects loop. Nano+ board. I could use this for anything really, not just the worship band but that’s its main purpose. We run a silent stage with IEMs.

Very Zen. I dig it.

How do you like the Neo?

Thanks. The Neo is great. Been using it since 2020 now (?). It can get you a wash of reverb though if you're not careful but it is exactly what I was looking for, always on, nice and simple.

I've been shuffling pedals around since 2003. Now, I'm old and this has to be the final version ... no more buying and selling, and no more watching YouTube pedal demos.

Obviously, I can't figure out how to upload an image properly. What is the maximum JPEG file size?

"last version" ive told myself that lie before too :D

The reality is that someday I'm gonna die, and I don't want my kids to have to deal with storage tubs full of pedals. The other thing is that I'm not gigging right now, so how many pedals do I really need over and above those that are board mounted?

I could probably get by with a tuner, overdrive, phaser, and delay. Maybe not even a tuner if I have a non-obvious headstock tuner.

Yeah, a reverb is almost unneccessary when you have a good delay. But I need a distortion pedal and fuzz to help in those mandatory low volume situations. I was surprised when I recently noticed how much tremolo is currently used in Adult Contemporary and Red Dirt Country. I like a touch of subtle optical trem, and a lush harmonic trem is definitely ear candy. It's not really about need, it's about my addiction to the sculpting of sound.

Oh yeah, I love wild sounds...and I am not ever trying to replicate sounds in a style of music- I just go on a whim. My amps all have reverb, so I don't need a pedal. However, I'd need a delay with a few presets as I love a slapback as well as really long delays to do loops. Currently I am using a DL4 mk II for that.

Had the mark I , loved it, really , unfortunately was too big, switched to a flashback x4 years ago, then I stop worrying bout instan delay presets and a I'm currently using a single TC Alter Ego 2 (in echoplex mode) , when I need something similar to the slap I turn the knob to the oil can mode...

I have loved my DL4 since the 90s. I've done surgery to keep it running several times.

The latest bit of old school fun. Running a tube pre-amp into a solid state head give me some excellent results. And that Walrus ambiance pedal give some nice reverb effects.

My newest pedalboard. No wires (bluetooth), no power supply (battery powered) and ... no board (not needed).

Switches can send midi PC, CC and notes on short/long press, so it's really an 8-switch controller. Not in the picture but I sometime connect an expression pedal for wah.
