Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

Re: Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

I find whether or not top mounted jacks are beneficial depends where you're placing the pedal and how you are connecting them.

On my bigger boards, I'm ok with them if I can put those pedals in the bottom row. In the top row they just frustrate me. Because they require more cable than would be necessary with side jacks. Especially if I'm using a pedal switcher.

Now that I think though, it's really only those pedals I want to wire together that are on different rows where it matters.

Paralleled jacks! That way you can have a choice of input on the side or top and output on the side or top! [emoji41]

The possibilities are endless until you actually start placing the pedals! [emoji38]

That's true! Fortunately/Unfortunately I've got a table of pedals that could fill 4 boards. I've got a really good ide where this one is going this time, though.

Here was before it was stripped:

Fun, but not road worthy. In fact, I always take the small board out of the house.

Hi everyone, I just joined the Forums.
I thought I'd start with my pedal board as it currently stands. It's based on an Aclam - no Velcro, ties, etc., just handy clips.

That's a brilliant idea. Love the clips!

It is a great idea and I almost bought one this spring. The company is located in Spain and I honestly don't know what the prices are like in the UK. Over here they're stupid expensive; the 32" board and soft case were roughly $350 and the Pedal Power bracket was an additional $90. I ended up going with a Holeyboard Evo, and I'll be posting pics in the next few weeks when I finally have it finished. (need to replace the grommets on my wah and wire up a junction box).

The current configuration. Haven't had time to tidy it up. The Guv'nor and the hot pink BluesBreaker Mk I clone don't have any Velcro yet. I'm also in need of proper cabling.

No modifications will be made for a long, long while.

Re: Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

Moved on from my February setup. Damn, this stuff is addictive. Might get rid of the OD Glove though, got the Bad Horse just today and it does much better what I wanted the EHX to do.
Plastic enclosure with holes is housing my wireless transmitter. Built some wooden risers out of plywood to bring up the tuner and delay for ease of use. Bad Horse will get one too. Also picked up a Mimiq today, but will use it mainly for recording, since I don't have two amps anyway.
Chain is: Wireless -> Wah -> Tuner -> Gate -> Bad Horse -> OD Glove -> Amp in -> FX loop send -> Gate -> Delay -> FX loop return.

Bad horse is a clone, right? What is it doing for you? I feel like the ODG is quite flexible.

Yeah, Klon clone. Using it to boost my crunch channel. In all fairness, I don't think its entirely the Glove's fault. Seems like the channel (EVH 5153 100w mk I blue channel) doesn't reall take drive pedals all that well.

Makes sense. It feels like to boost a crunch channel. a klone is great.

Now that I have an image host, here are my and longcat's new boards. More details here.

New image host! (Wow, this thread looks like **** with all the dead Photbucket links.)

Here's my new Imgur-hosted main board. It's actually unchanged since last time I posted it several months ago. The pink pedal is a DIY Rat clone. Voodoo Pedal Power 2+ hidden under the deck.

Here's my "other" surf board. In this case, the pink pedal is a Fuzzrite.

Re: Lets see those pedal boards you are using right now.

Finally got this thing together. I thought I'd have to buy cords but I had enough right angle ones to get the job done. Might pick up a few nicer quality cables when I get the chance.

Signal from guitar to amp: wah, fuzz, OD, distortion, EQ, delay. I originally wanted the MXR OD on it, but I really like the sound of the behringer TS clone into the crunch box. Everything but the wah is powered via One Spot with a 5-way daisy chain. I'd like to get a right angle daisy chain with another jack or two at some point.

I may do a two-board smaller version someday for just a few pedals but still keep the "cables below" design.
