Actually, that's getting to be my 'go to' guitar. It took a little while to settle in for me, but now I'm really enjoying playing on the Clapton profile neck. And it's light too.

I like that alot man. I like the way you threw the blue single coil in there too. What was that originally? I notice the red paint on it now that I see a closer pic.

It's a SSL-1 that I painted blue.

Well, it made sense since the real one has blue paint on it!

What made you decide to go with that color? I really like that alot....a whole lot!! I can't recall as ever seeing one like that.

Why blue? I don't know,...I actually built my first one back in 1982, though...

...and, of course, Wolfgang now has a blue "Frankenbass" which he supposedly copyrighted!

This is my main "jazz" guitar so far.. I still need to work on it though, Im thinking of replacing the body, wanting a blue quilt top with wilkinson, but I dunno if I can find that anywhere without spending like $400 =[ Hmmm

Anyways, this is a Carvin neck on an Ibanez S body.
