Re: lets see those super strats!!

Nice, I've never seen an Edge trem sit flat on the body, thought Ibanez did only floaters. Its nice to see they did it the better way for once :P

Pinto, those are some really nice (and rare) Ibanez guitars! Did the RG425PR come stock with a middle position humbucker right up next to the bridge humbucker like that? I don't remember even seeing one like it before.
I do remember seeing the pushbutton pickup selectors on Ibanez guitars in the 80's. Wow, I'd forgotten all about those. That brings back memories.
Very cool bunch of guitars.

One is a 1985 Squier MIJ strat w/DiMarzio SDS.
The other is a 2006 Fender 'Lite Ash Strat' w/ '57 Voodoo paf.

OK, I'll play. :D

My Koa Warmoth Strat... CC and STK-S1N, Titanium Big-Block on the Floyd, Brass claw..

Re-doing another one...Charvel neck, KnE Ash body...same block and pickup combo as the Koa Strat, but I'm thinking of switching the bridge pickup to a Custom 8..

And here's my baby...Charvel neck, Ash body, Brass Block on the Floyd and a Duncan Custom...

In addition to the Charvel rebuild, also re-doing a Kramer I've had since high school, and starting on a Musikraft Charvel replica...too many projects at the moment... :D

Re: lets see those super strats!!

My latest: a 199X Jackson JS20 with an AlNiCo 5 ES-335 humbucker in the bridge, a ceramic single coil in the neck, Fender vintage value pots and caps, a Gibson 3-way and Gibson donut switch ring, and of course, Gibson style amber speed knobs!

UGLY!!!!!

I put it together for my brother in law, who mentioned that he wished he had an electric guitar. Careful what you wish for!!! :laugh2:

The video was intended to only be viewed by him, so, sorry about all the chat!

A great sounding and playing guitar!!!

Re: lets see those super strats!!

Awesome!! Im so glad they brought back the pointy stock and that body style!! If only they werent making them backwards... LOL

Haha, good one Rose! I get that all the time. :):scratchch:friday:

FWIW, the STs are really balanced guitars. It's such a pleasure to play; great balance and feel. Mine is all maple so it's a little heavy on the shoulder but at least I have a beefy and comfortable strap to help out.

I have the M22SD/M22V pup combo on it (can't praise them enough) and the active electronics module; this guitar will stay stock forever. Throw in the coil splitters and (almost never used) phase switch and I have tones to spare. I play with the control knob at full treble and the pups sound great!

Get you one Rose, I know you are a Carvin fan as well. :cool2:
