Finally got to it. Switched the auto-split so it was using the outside coil instead of inside...and all is back to full sound.
The middle position now sounds kinda thin..but..honestly that's fine...it's definitely 2 single coils together and not reduced, out of phase, sounding.
It adds a nice new palette to the guitar..and only 3 position so 1 volume and 1 tone to worry about.
My go to axe for sure.
