I am think I want: a Lil' 59 - JB Jr. - Lil' 59 set for my Stratocaster.

Has anybody tried this?

I really recommend the rails ones over the screw poles sc size hbs because the string coverage is so much better. 2 cool rails and a hot rails bridge is what I'd do.

Well, a JB Jr is a great bridge pickup...I don't know how it would be in the middle. It is also a good pickup if your thing is hard rock, and only hard rock. It is really good at what it does, but it sort of does that one thing.

what are you trying get? ive put a hotter pup in the middle before and it worked great. if i was going to do what you are, id put a series/parallel switch on the middle pup
