I've also been debating over the lil 59 N and JB Jr N. Ultimately, I want a neck pickup that sounds closest to a natural sounding fullsize 59N. Has anybody owned both? I'm considering buying both, then decided which one goes in the middle and neck, after buying them.

i own a neck lil 59 and a bridge Jb Jr. the Jb would be best for hard rock/metal, the 59 is better for cleans, lower output and a tad bassy, best kept low-medium gain, or for shredding then you will want tons of gain, i find it ussually doesnt have enough output for shredding alongside the Full shred ive paired it with, but i may be wrong, because playing technique and your amp/effects will effect that.
