Hi. I have a Tele custom which I have installed a lil'59 at the bridge. Great, great sound, but unfortunately the pup seems to be microphonic (unbearable high pitched background whine at high gain) and is certainly not hum cancelling (clear mains hum also evident). When I installed the pup, I made sure that I properly connected the grounds, etc. Two other points which may be of significance: (a) the hum is substantially reduced and the whining sound disappears if I touch the outer case of the jack plug going into the guitar, but NOT if I touch strings, bridge, etc. and (b) I recently installed graphtec saddles - significant? Feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
