Re: Limited edition duncans at musicians enemy!!
Believe it or not, I care . . . a little bit. I think its a shame when someone has a bad experience with a good company. I do, however, think a smidgen of fault lies at your door. These were designed as a guitar pickup first, that has a bit of uniqueness second. I believe that you, and some others, bought them as investments, or collector items first. That was a mistake, albiet one that isn't completely, your fault.
It would be a shame if you heard a killer sounding guitar at some time in the near future, and then found out it was the very pickups you had in your hand. The simple fact that they came from MF should've been a clue that these wouldn't be ultra-collectibles.
Billy mentioned on page 6 of this thread how the snafu came about, with a promise to get to the bottom of it and report back here when he knows.
Anyway, I don't mean to aggravate you any more, I just think its a shame to, as they say, "throw the baby out with the bathwater". It was just a snafu, plain and simple.

Heck, no one from Seymour Duncan Corp. has even bothered to explain how the whole mess developed, no less even offer an apology :smack:
