I need a semi cheap Cabinet to leave at the Jam hall so I dont have to move any of my stuff from home, I was reading up on the Line 6 412 S T cab, says its 300 watts with 4 75watt 12" custom celestions in it. But there was no information about the speakers in it, or any performance specs. I also decided to check out the Ibanez Toneblaster 4x12 cab, I heard one at ony of my brothers gigs, it was played with a Gibson les Paul custom, a Line 6 Vetta II head. I thought it sounded ok, and the prices are about the same aswell, Both around $500 canadian. I will be running a Marshall MG100HDFX head(I dislike the MG412 cabs) Just wondering if anyone has experience with these cabs that they could share with me, Thanks in advance for your help.

The Line 6 cab's speakers are very close to the G12-80's. They are voiced a bit more flat for the Line 6 amps to take aedvantage of the modeling differences. I've never tried them outside of Line 6 amps. Some guys have been using the Avatar or Behringer 4x12's as a cheap backup solution.

Of the two choices I'd go with the Line 6. The very early Line 6 cabs sound awful with a non-modeling amp. The newer cabs with Celestions are a huge improvement. Overall I'd have to recommend Avatar as they're probably about the best cab for the price you'll find anywhere.
