Oh, you thought we were all serious when we said the DL4 is good? ;)

Well.....yeah. :) Am I going to need the extra expression pedal with this thing? It'll be a few dollars more if I do. What else?

Seriously, it's a great pedal. I don't use an expression pedal with it at all. It's got tap tempo so that's all I care about for on-the-fly adjustments.

You'll be happy, Lew.

Thanks! The DL4 was just $50 more...got a great deal on it from Musicians Advocate. Lew

Re: Line 6 Echo Park...

i love using the exp pedal with it- you can go from infinite delays to just a few, or swoop delay time for that cool spaceship sound. the line6 pedal is cheaply made though...it is a rebranded bespeco pedal that they charge about $60 for- you can find the Bespeco model for around $20 or so.... but any volume pedal with around a 10k pot will work.

Re: Line 6 Echo Park...

The expression pedal is worth the $ in gold.

I found the loop feature on the DL4 to be a little dissapointing in the fact that it only let you loop 14 seconds...it's not really as long as you'd think. However, the half-speed, reverse overdubbing, and all that stuff is pretty fun to say the least.

Have fun with it.

Re: Line 6 Echo Park...

i always start my loops in half speed mode, so i get 28 seconds...then you stomp on a switch, you get an octave higher and twice as fast- very cool!
