Line 6 M13 - First Impressions

Re: Line 6 M13 - First Impressions

I don't cruise the new gear notices much anymore, so I completely missed this release!

:cool2::cool3:

BTW, go here. Register. There is an M13 page under "effects." Post a question there about your switch. Mark your thread as a "question." That sends your thread to the moderators/techs @ L6. You also can submit a "support ticket." Often, though, if it is something they need to deal with you directly on, they'll send a support ticket to you.

There was a switch problem with the early X3Ls. Several of them failed. L6 often just replaced the unit, though. Their support system is pretty good. Check 'em out.

(of course they are NOT the SD Co.).

already posted a thread on the line 6 forums, I'm cobd04 over there. We'll see how things go with that.

Re: Line 6 M13 - First Impressions

Anyone compared it to the NOVA SYSTEM as that seems like its closest rival in higher end multi efx pedalboards.

The line 6 has no intelligent pitch shifter built in. However, it can run multiple instances of effects that are in the same "category" (modulation, delay, reverb, etc), where as the nova system can only run one effect "category" at a time. Which means you're limited to one modulation, one delay, one reverb, etc, etc, at a time.

The nova-system doesn't have a built-in looper either.
