Im not really digging my Boss ME-70 I bought recently.. doesnt sound as good as my Pod X3L and it still has alot of fiddling to get a decent tone.
The M13 looks perfect, the only reason I tried the ME-70 first was cause A) much cheaper and B) expression pedal was attached.. but now Im thinking of selling the ME and going with my original plan to get the M13.
One thing im curious though, I only really use my Pod X3L for recording, cause I hate how the preamp/amp sims get in the way while plugging into another amp, but I never tried the 4 cable method on it yet. So does that completely remove the preamp/amp sims or do you still have to go in each indivudial patch to remove them, and save all new patchs (for live vs recording)..
Im just wondering if I should get the M13 which can go straight into any amp and sound good right away, or if I should just use the X3L live, if the 4cm would remove all preamp settings and amp sims because then I wouldnt have to reprogram it for every new amp I plug into (going to school, we have like 5 diff amps there to use, so I dont always play the same amp)
My home rig when I move back home after school will be probably either a ADA MP-1 or Peavey rockmaster into a Carvin T100.. but I need this pedal to go into other amps on the fly without having to change every small detail to get a decent sound out of it.
Anyone have experiance with the M13 and Pod X3L?
