What do you use it for? Practice amp? Jamming? Gigging? I have the 15 watt flavor and it is pretty cool as far as practice amps go and does a superb job at amplifying my mp3 in the yard in the summer.
The price they are asking is at the fringe of scoring a pretty decent tube amp. 75 solid state watts do not go that far in a band situation. Especially if you are up against a second guitar using tube amp.
Does that looper mix the live signal and recorded loop together well? That is a major complaint I have about the Boss RC-2. The RC2 only works well when the live signal is a/b'd into a separate amplifier.
Well if you like it..that's all that matters. I have a few Line 6 products including a POD XT desktop and a spider III 15 watt practice amp. They are both great for what I use them for, but I also have a Boogie Mark IV tube amp, and there is simply no comparison...... My 85 tube watts will blow your 75 SS watts off the planet with the master volume on 3. :naughty:
I can't imagine needing that much power for a band situation. Any place big enough that you would need that much power will have a PA. And if your 75 watt SS amp can't be heard over your band, then your band NEEDS TO TURN DOWN BEFORE YOU DESTROY YOUR EARS AND YOUR NEIGHBORS' SMALL ANIMALS :28:
