Line MM-4 Modulation Modeler HUM in FXLoop...

I stuck my MM-4 in the effects loop and it hums like a mofo. There's also a noticable drop in signal lose. Anybody else experience this? How did you solve it?

Also, anybody know some settings to get that "choppy" tremolo sound? What model do you use? How do you mix it? I can't get it right!

perhaps it's because it should be in front of the amp not in the loop?? ok that may have sounded harsh sorry LOL but anyway, i use mine in front of the amp and it works great. i never tried it in the loop because FX like flange and phase and such are typically placed in front of the amp. as for the mix mine is at 100% again in the front.

Bah! You're probably right about that!

I was trying to stick all my mods and delay in the loop but, eh, looks like I'll be "in front of the amp" guy again.

Great stuff, thanks!

Any idea 'bout the "stutter/choppy" tremolo settings?

I think the hum and possibly choppiness is due to the FX loop running at line level, while FX in the front are running at instrument level impedence.
