Without going back to the inital thread Original Post, Livewire Metals were suggested for my son's guitar. He bought those and we put them in. Yes, he loves them, so thank you, theodie, for the high recommendation...no, make that absolute insistance upon getting them.
This is how I wired them LW Metal wiring diagram but the tone pot adds a loud hum when you touch it - similar to plugging a cord into an amp and then shorting the tip and post together with your fingers.
I noticed the Dave Mustian has an extra ground between the two pots Dave Mustain wiring diagram. Should I add that extra wire?
