Locking a Kahler trem?

I just got the guitar of my dreams with a Kahler 2300 series flat mount tremolo and am wondering if anyone makes a device like the tremol-no, trem converter etc for a Kahler? If not I was thinking of designing something but that would take a long time planning and deciding what would actually work correctly.

Nope.. the only solution is to have a bracket machined that takes the place of the springs, or look for a 33xx series hardtail on eBay (or Kahlerusa.com)

Re: Locking a Kahler trem?

What do you mean by locking the trem? Do you mean blocking it so the trem doesn't work?
If so, find a block of wood or (cut and sand a block of wood to fit between the back of the block that the springs attach to and the tem cavity). Glue it in place with some Elmer's glue. With the Elmer's glue, the block will stay in place, but if you want to remove it, it can be tapped out without a lot of effort.
