LOL! First Act custom for Rick Nielsen

I got a free First Act calendar packaged with my latest Guitar Player magazine. (I won't go into the commercial/journalism conflict of interest issues here.) They have a great guitar they built for Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick - with six lipstick pickups each with its own set of volume and tone controls.

Gotta love Rick's sense of humor regarding all things guitar. Still, it doesn't have quite as many knobs on it as Tom Peterson's Hamer 12-string bass does.

That First Act is awesome! It's over the top but still looks well-designed and thought-out too.

To be honest, the First Act looks like the bastard child of one of Glenn Tipton´s Hamer´s and an Explorer after having a 3-way with a Firebird :laugh2:

BTW, That´s not necessarily meant to be degrading

The only thing that would make that guitar cooler is if they used sliders instead of knobs, ala, console mixer.
