well since my halfstack is at my friend's garage where we practice it SUCKS without a practice amp. i'm looking for something with atleast a 12" speakers and hopefully under $200 maybe even $150. i'm all about something used, but trying to keep standards to atleast a decent tone. what do you guys recommend i check out?

You might be able to get a Tech 21 TM-10 second hand for that sort of money, they are supposedly really good and very versatile, you can record with it & hook up extension cabs etc.

I like the avatar btw, was it inspired by C & C at all?

That little vox is killer, I also have a little Marshall SS combo from the late 80s and it is every bit as cool as the Vox. A POD 2.0 is tough to beat too. Throw on some headphones and you have an amazing array of tones to mess with.

Hey man I have a Behringer V-Ampire LX1 112 combo for sale. It's the combo version of Behringer's V-amp modelling units. I love it for practicing and recording however I need the cash to put towards my Mesa. I'm looking to get $175 -$200 for it. PM me if interested.

The VOX has divine cleans. Convinced my friend to buy it :)
