I've got a schecter C1 Floyd Rose, the older model with a set neck, mahogany body, mahogany neck, Real floyd rose. Upgraded with duncans Invader in bridge JB in neck, and Dimarzio straplocks. I cant let it go for under 400, but I think I could for around 500 or so.

Check out uOpt's Kramer Focus a few threads down, it's right in your ballpark and is killer ESP made Japan quality

yeah i saw it, it's pretty cool, but a little too "stratty" lookin ;]

Re: Looking for a semi-inexpensive Shredder with a FLOYD ROSE TREM

You wrote of some discontent for a strat shape JJF, are you looking for a shaped guitar?

Just trying to help clarify for folks.

Re: Looking for a semi-inexpensive Shredder with a FLOYD ROSE TREM

not really discontent, I love the strats I have...I meant more along the lines that it had a pickguard strat style...and no im not really looking for a shaped guitar....Kramer Focus 6000's are about right on if you're wondering ;]

2000 Ibanez RG470 made in Japan - Titanium Ice finish (light metallic purple)?

Re: Looking for a semi-inexpensive Shredder with a FLOYD ROSE TREM

Kramer focus 1000's are great too, the one I have is one of the top 2 or 3 best playing guitars I've ever laid my hands on. and the bridge pickup is really versatile, especially with the kinman treble bypass circuit.
