Bang for the buck I still think your best quality option is the Line 6 HX Stomp. A lot of church folk use them or they jump up to Fractal's or Kemper's. The IEM thing is rough. You will have to find a "special blend" you can live with to make things not sound so terrible. A hair of delay and reverb helps to dust the sound and liven it up some.

Well, technically I already own enough gear to assemble a setup. But I wanted to try to go amp-less and just make a very small setup. That’s why I was thinking fly rig. Which is half of the price of the line 6.
Don’t get me wrong, $600 for an “all I need†pedal isn’t all that much but if I’m being honest, right now I don’t have a spare $600 to throw at this. That’s why I’m being a cheap ass....ha!

Just looked up the Iridium. That looks pretty cool. Nice form factor, though I would be OK if it was a little bigger so they could put 2 XLR Outs on it too.

The Fly Rig 5 is a worthy choice. It would be great for what you need. I love the XLR out.
If you do decide to ever go forward with one, let me know and I will connect you to a dealer that can save you some money.

Those 3 choices are all great.
The Iridium looks amazing. And $400 isn’t too bad. The downside is in order to get everything I’d want out of it I still need to buy the foot switch and midi cables for it. And that now brings the price to where the Line 6 is. Plus I’d still need to intergrate other FX pedals into the setup. The big plus is that it probably sounds the best of all 3 choices.
I’ll look deeper into the Line 6 today when I have a few minutes.

I have gone through a number of different rigs as i am now mainly a P'W player. Best i have found has been the tiny Mesa Subway Rocket I have with a mic in front and a minimal pedal board. Super low stage levels and tones that will floor you in the FOH miced. Only issue is fighting arrogant brainless anal worship leaders and sound tecs who won't even try and work with you when they see an amp. I can get killer tones at levels as low as a good vocalist is singing but--.

My amp here is to my left on the floor looking from camera view. So tiny you hardly notice it and volume is so low that you would have to work to hear it sitting in the front row directly in front of the amp. But. throw a beta 57 on it like here and push it through the system and --. Also have an Ax track Iso cab when I absolutely must run silent stage.

Do you have a good tube amp you like? If so just buy a good IR like a Torpedo Captor and run your rig direct silent stage. I HATE most of the guitar tones in today's pop worship most sound fake harsh buzzy thin ect. The few tones I do like are from guys running real amps like here.

This more or less the direction I went. After spending years building my amp collection, I prefer to use them.
I will say that I just bought the FlyRig Acoustic pedal and it seems to be pretty top notch and very simple to use. It impressed me enough to look at going back to get a FlyRig 5 as a backup to my normal rig.

Just looked up the torpedo. Very interesting!
I have a 20w Blackstar head that I like a lot.
So, with the torpedo I could run the head into it and then out the xlr to foh?
I’m assuming the 1/4” out would go to either a floor wedge or IEM? It is labeled “dry”....would I not be able to hear any FX in my monitor?

I’m using a UA Ox instead of the Captor, but I run amp > Ox > DI > FOH, then our IEMs come back via an auxiliary board feed through (new to us) Behringer P16’s. Before that we used the board to feed little headphone amps for the IEMs.
I would say when the Torpedo says dry for the 1/4 out that would just without the cabinet emulation.
