Looking for advice on a versatile HSS setup in a deluxe strat

Hey everyone, I'm new here, first post so please be nice :newbie:

I am picking up an absolutely cherry 2006 fender american deluxe strat this week that's been sitting in a closet for 10 years and I'm trying to decide what to do with the pickups. I have an anderson H2+ and an FS-1 already sitting in a drawer, considering picking up an FS-1R for the middle SC. Anyone have any experience with anderson pickups in a HSS setup with an S-1 switch? My thoughts are the possible tone combinations would be off the charts and I'd be able to dial in a tone that would work for many different styles, just not sure what the right combination is going to be. I am all over the board from desert rock (QOTSA/Kyuss type stuff) to Jazz, Blues, Country, Classic Rock, etc and I'm wanting to set this strat up to be something really versatile.

Any advice and opinions you'd like to share are greatly appreciated.

I've read that the SF pickups are really designed to be run in series instead of parallel, not sure if that is accurate though. If its true they may not be the best choice for a S-1 type switch setup.

Welcome to tha forum!

I just set up my hss with a Custom 5 and 2 single coil sized humbuckers a lil 59 and jb jr. It can get strat sounds or rock sounds and it's noiseless. It's great.

My hyper diverse strat is Jb bridge, cruiser center and cool rail neck. Spin a split is on 75% for quack clean, the cool rail screams when I bypass spinasplit and jb splits for perfect quack in 2d position.

thanks for the replies. this is my first HSS guitar so its probably going to be a little trial and error before I get it like I want. I typically play deluxe teles or SGs with dual HB

Depending on construction either a JB or a custom could get you a sound relatively similar to your SG in the bridge.
