I can personally vouch for the full shred bridge. the dimarzio d'activator does well too. steve's special does it too. I forget if the bass is tight though. that was 15 years ago.

Dimarzio fred and norton are brighter tighter pickups with crazy harmonics.

Yeah but they all did it by ear instead of a controlled laboratory test, mob logic at best, so maybe we should discount all those learned recommendations.
