Well, there might be someone here with a few of those floating around. We don't see a ton of SD amp owners here, unfortunately. Many here are actually too young to have experienced them.

Have you ever had any trouble with it? Word has it that they might not be as reliable.

Mine has been amazing, I don't take it out of the studio however, but it gets a lot of use

Actually, I never had a chance to try them. I know a lot of people who said how great they sounded. I remember the ads for them in Guitar Player.

I've played through a lot of different amps, this one by far my favorite so far.

which one do you have? a buddy had the convertible 100 and it was sweet! not very road worthy unfortunately so got beat up and needed repairs after a while. though it was probably 20+ years old when he got it

I have one myself which shocking I found in the trash. As I was picking it up, guy said he thought the tubes was bad. Long story short, tubes at 90 percent. Bad 1/4 jack in the front.

I have 9 different modules for mine and I am currently working on reproducing modules after finding some schematics online for a few random modules and reverse engineering them. This all started as some of my module covers got warped..

Im currently 3d printing the covers with very high temp materials. Like 180-200c.

I have found a place to make the boards for me ,just no components. So im currently making a few with different parts seeing what kind of tone I can produce and what forms of differences I can get..

If you want I can send you schematics and anything you might need. But hoping soon I can flood our market with replacement parts. But until I can quality check those covers I wont feel comfortable. This was a huge DIY friendly amp for custom stuff.

Idea, but man is that vendor expensive!. 1500 dollars to get it to your door. I can pick up atleast 3 of them for that price. A full tube set would run you 350ish dollars. Couldn't imagine forking out 1500 for this amp
