Looking for Duncan Designed HB112

Title kinda says it all. I’ve heard good things about these and have a couple
of guitars I think it would sound great in. Ideally I’d like 2 bridge.

Thanks!

Re: Looking for Duncan Designed HB112

My understanding is that the HB112 is kind of it’s own thing, like a cross between a screamin demon and a distortion.

Which original are you talking about?

Gotcha, I’ve just always heard that D/D pickup has its own vibe, I’ve read some think it deserves to be a S/D original.

Re: Looking for Duncan Designed HB112

The HB112 is a HB103B with a row of hex screws instead of slugs. It started as the Duncan/Ibanez HB103B that was in the SZ320EX, SZ520EX but not the SZ720EX if I remember correctly. The 720 had real SDs.

I had an SZ with the Duncan/Ibanez pickups, and I’m pretty sure they were marked HB-103 and HB-102.

Mine had a 101 in the neck with a factory installed flipped magnet to get hum cancelling in the middle position.

The Duncan/Ibanez 103B is also the Duncan Designed 112.
