i'm starting to look for my first tube amp. will have to be a smaller one, have looked so far at fender blues jr. and hot rod deluxe. now for the attenuator question. i do not gig, only play for myself and occasionally with friends/family. since i won't get to crank the volume where it probably should be to get the best tone, will an attenuator help with that? and what are some good attenuators and maybe other amps i'm missing since i new to shopping for tube amps?
