low wattage moderately priced tube amps

Re: low wattage moderately priced tube amps

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

dont think us prices. think european prices

i cant get a hot rod deluxe lower than 800, same for the delta blues. the peavey classic i have to check. it might be in my price range, but i am not too sure. it's awfully low gain too, but i can always run a pedal in front if need be so i am not too worried about the gain department THAT much. sounded realy AC/DC like though, with the gain dimed.. actualy, everything was dimed apart of the volume, which was at 6
just checked, new classic 30 is 700

Europe is no prob.....i just bought a watch from the UK......didn't get whacked too badly.....you are going to have to pay VAT on a new amp over there anyway, so how bad can the VAT or duty be on a used one if any at all?

man, i get reamed on shipping.. and the customs charge is 20% on anything. used or not. doesnt matter if it's calculated in the price i paid already or not.

that's why i gotta see how much it costs in the states. so i can see if any are available here and at what price diference

Re: low wattage moderately priced tube amps

A couple of months ago I picked up a Crate Club 20 (15w 1x10, EL84, speaker out). It's got wicked gain for it's size (huge sound), and nice cleans- but you'll need a pedal, only one clannel. I'm looking at changing out the speaker which will be nothing but an improvment....stock speaker is pretty good as is. I got it for about $200 USD...on Ebay.
