Re: Lower or higher outputs? Calling Hard Rockers!!!
Interesting to hear i am a straight up glam and sleaze guy. Ive only ever played in sleaze bands and all my stuff is oriented towards that. my primary two guitars are a 15 Kramer striker 211 and a 14 les paul 100. both guitars have the JB in them and i didnt realize what the jb did untill i put the A2p slash in. It was great for GNR but i wanted to transfer from 80s hard rock(Kiss, Bulletboys,Halen) to some southern rock(Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet) to scandinavian sleaze( HCSS, Crashdiet, Santa Cruz) and for some stupid reason it thought i could do it all with slash's signature pu . I was so wrong. when i got a JB that was meant for another guitar but wasnt spaced right it dropped it in the Les paul. It was love at first sound i plugged STRAIGHT into my Marshall DSL 100 on the crunch channel and after one run through of Molly Hatchet's boogie no more i was sold. I liked how the Jb pushed the amp and didnt like how the slash pulled back on the amp. However the slash pickup was warmer and allittle clearer. but not nearly enough to get me sold.
