LTD EC400 vs EC400ATS

Besides one having Emgs and the other Duncans, what is diff between these 2 models?
Do they have the same playability and tone as the EC1000 but without all the fancy binding and tone pros??

Im trying to see if I can get the EC axe but save alil $$.. I dont need the fancy binding
