[please no Windows/Mac flamewars, I never used Windows in my life and I never will (outside of running games)]
Does anybody here use Macs for recording and effects, possibly programming their own plugins?
Does using VST plugins with that plugin wrapper (I forgot the name) actually work for you? Does it work with all the user interface elements?
How does Logic Pro work for you?
Is there a good library of opensource or otherwise free effect plugins? VST or core audio?
Since there is no Mac with PCIe/PCI slots except the Mac Pro anymore, what do you use for soundcards?
Can you use a Tascam 428 with it?
