Made a new Celtic convert last night...

Local guitar teacher got to take a spin on my amp and he was floored. His comments (man did he sound good on it) were that he loved how it "cut" and his eyes were popping out of his head looking at it. Pretty decent end to what was a horribly crappy day for me. It put me in a better mood to play a little with friends. I might just go to my bud's studio again today if he's there...

I also performed a little surgery on a killer old Silvertone 1482 I sold to my bud who loves it dearly but was getting the piss shocked out of his lip when he tried to sing with it. The last time he used it, a blue spark pounded his upper lip and he blacked out for a second. I took the amp apart and installed a three prong plug. He no longer has problems with getting shocked.

I'm amazed that nobody mentioned (to him) the shock hazard of not having a grounded plug. Getting "hit" in the face is sure a hard way to learn !!

That's the key: If we could get more people to TRY a Celtic, Scott would be backed up for months....

Not his fault. He knew about it because I told him. I was supposed to repair it months ago, but never got around to it. I've been very very busy here lately. Not much time for anything.

Well you did tell him and you did repair it, that is the main thing.

Man does that sound painful. Last time I was backed up for just a day, but I was in some serious pain!
