got the trem arm, it was laying on the floor under the spot the axe was hanging on the wall in the shop.... :laugh2:

i've never had a floyd rose before... should the trem arm just slide in the hole? should it click in?
i have an ibanez, and thats what i do with mine.

The bar should have a little white washer on the end that goes into the guitar... It pretty much just slide in the hole... no click or anything. If it is real loose you need a new white washer.

I have a 1987 Road Flare Red RG550 that I adore. I don't play it much, though.

Re: Made in Japan Ibanez's

Anyone help me? The Serial # is F935114

This is what I can find for dating Ibanez's:
"In dating Ibanez guitars made after 1987 .. the letter is now the factory designation .. the first number is the year built ... the next five numbers are the production number of the piece for the year ..(example) .. F700015 = the 15th. guitar made in 1987"

How do I confirm that mine is a 1999 rather than a well-kept 1989?

Hey man, if you ever decide to sell it, talk to me first! I can never have enough pink.
