what if there was a magic tuner thats attached to the guitar, you run your strings through it and it can mechanically detect the hz each string is being played at and can auto adjust string tension to keep it in tune always and forever.

That's crazy! If such a thing existed, I'd probably call it something totally off the wall like the "Gibson Robot Guitar."

I think they invented those already, using some state of the art bio-engineering technology.

the product, i believe is called a "guitar tech"

i would use it, no matter how funny sounds. laying in bed at night hearing a high pitched tinging, the machine is retuning inside the case.

come how from work and its in tune!!! drop it on the floor it quickly retunes it!!!

Thing is that wouldn't work cos it would always be trying to tune when you vibato, dive or bend in any way.

(BTW I have 2 Gibby Robots too)

it waits a minimum of 30 seconds for excessive string vibration to start tuning.
down time tuning.

Tuning is completely over-rated. It just makes you sound like everybody else.

Now ... a 'Clean' pedal that could suck the distrtion out of a signal and render it clean would be a great thing.

I think a good EQ pedal could work as a "clean" pedal, so to speak...

I wish guitars could tune themselves. No Gibson bull****, just a guitar that tunes itself, *even when youre playing*. be hard to work around bends though.
