Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

Firebirds look cool as all hell, but I've never actually played one. How do they balance on a strap?

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

Scott what did they do on the tuners? I just posted something about the Reverse 5 & I noticed that they had Sterinberger tuners! I am gassing for one of the 5's but I am curious on when & why Gibson switched to the Steinberger tuners!

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

on all the press info Id seen previously on these, plus the ones for sale, they have regular Grovers 6 in line.

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

Grovers on the 70's, I do not care for the Steinberger tuners but the banjo tuners kind of suck too

uOpt - yes these are set neck

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

Between this new firebird and this video. I'm very full of gas at the moment.

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

Won't Grovers make it neck dive even more than the banjos? Playability was the main reason I sold my Firebird VII.
