Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

I didn't notice any more neck dive on this guitar than an SG.

I'll take the Grovers over banjos or Steinbergers anyday.

I can't stop thinking about this stupid guitar. I'd have to move some gear to pick one up and I don't think I want to unload anything right now so maybe down the line I'll grab one.

Those look great - I want one too!

Could fit P-90s.

And if it neck dives............ Vibramate + Bigsby !

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

These are a bit lighter than a regular Firebird which I liked. I can't say that I noticed the neck dive, I was sitting down but even then a regular 'bird seems to dip, this one not so much.

...but I was thinking a Bigsby or a Maestro if I get one.

Mod it to be like Tonka's. You know you want to.

Thank you.

Re: Major GAS attack - not that it takes much

I love the Kauer "Old Black" take on the 'bird but Tonkas would be pretty badass. Only you and I would know!

I wouldn't mind the silverburst one with Hot/Vintage P-90's. I'd wait to find a used one probably.

When we're talking about paying real bucks for a Firebird, I'd rather buy a "real" Firebird with binding on the neck and a nicer finish.

Well I kind of think of this as a Special as opposed to a true Firebird. It still had that 'bird sound.
