From the looks of it, and the descriptions, that device just adds more gain stages. To get clean with his amps, you need less gain stages, not more. I'm guessing that thing is just enabled and bypassed through the V1 slot, similar to a footpedal would be enabled/bypassed out front.

Yeah, there are people that would lust after the sound Sune can get from his amps.

Sune says, in an Andy Kaufman voice. "I can no do clean, thank-you-very-much."

Sune needs a chimey Fender. Oh..and one of these pedals. 3 tubes onboard. That's RADICAL.

Well in getting some more info on the clean aspect here, I've been told that you can absolutely get a good clean tone with multiple gain stages. Bogner I believe is one in particular that does this well. You blend them. There are really only 2 type of circuits I've been told. The Fender style and the Marshall style. There are 2 types of Quikmods available. There is a 2 and 3 tube version, which the 3 tube one I believe has the impedence matching design. The 2 tube one works more for Marshall styles and the other works Fender styles. Again forgive me if I'm not translating this info as clear as possible.

Ah, a bit of a story behind this, ION. Sune has an amp with all the gain stages engaged at lift off. He likes it that way. He is just lusting after the "clean" life.
