already done. i made one a couple years back with a 24in scale 6 string neck a strat neck pickup and a piezo buzzer as a pickup. neck pickups kinda sound like a thinline tele and the bridge (piezo) is super bright. 3 way switch vol and tone. i like it alot and its fun to play. plus when u pull it out for a song on stage everyone thinks its awesome lol

Sweet, man! I'll have to do this one day. It would be a fun project for me and my kid.

Gosh, I didn't think I was gone that long ... :-)

Should we discuss the tonal nuances of a Honduran cigar box versus a Cuban cigar box? Would homeland security raid us if we used a Cuban box?

Easy as pie when doing a fretless dedicated slide guitar. Doing one with frets that intonated and played well would be more of a challenge. Still cool, though.
