If you make both, you'll have parts for a 59/JB. Too bad you can't readily get a double screw 59 or a double slug JB, then you'll have all three hybrids in their optimal configurations. The 59/C works pretty well with the Custom screw coil and 59 slug coil, too; and I believe that was the preferred configuration when it first began life as a forum mod.
IMHO, the JB slug coil offers the best split tone of the bunch.
