Mambo Sinuendo inspired clip

I love Mambo Sinuendo with Ry Cooder and Manuel Galban so I was screwing around with a Latin beat and put this down, a few duffers in there but I think I got the spirit right anyway. MY LP Standard with a Jazz neck directly into my Portastudio.

besides all the stuff that the Buena Vista members did, Marc Ribot did an album called "Y Los Cubanos Postizos" that's in a similar vein as "Sinuendo" ... maybe see if you like the clips on Amazon:

Swingin... you got a cool Ry feel and the tone is really sweet on that neck pickup. You did a good job on catching that vibe in general.. not very "Mr Nasty" of you though

Wow thanks! Collaboration huh? Maybe. Next time we have a Get Together in the area we'll have to hook up and see what we can come up with.

I have been thinking of doing an online Forum Jam so maybe we'll start there.
