Marshall 1912 - G12B?

I'm thinking about getting a 1x12 cab and I keep coming across Marshall 1912 cabs with celestion G12B-150 speakers in them.
Now I can't find any info on the G12B. Anyone know anything about these?

I have an example of this cabinet. The OEM loudspeaker is referred to by Marshall as the Celestion G12 Gold.

"The History Of Marshall" by Michael Doyle points out that, in the USA, the G12 150 was used instead of the G12 Gold. The book fails to describe what differences, if any, there were between these two loudspeaker designs.

Try the Celestion website. It is a mine of information.

all i know is i love my 1912 cab... Loud, lots of over head and it has a nice lows... all in a small package...

i think the current model 1912 has a g12k100.
