Marshall 4-pin power switch wiring.

Deadbolt

Hey guys,
with the recent help from the board and diagnosing my jcm 800's bad power switch i finally got a new switch unfortunatly i have not had any luck finding a diagram.

There was a 5-pin switch before and the "NEW" marshall switchs only have 4 pins.

i was instructed by jeff seal to jump the(hopefully i remember the colours correctly) yellow and brown wire together and to jump the blue and green together leaving the black hanging.did so and tested to see if tubes lit up when i plugged it in. The amp worked.
So the new switch is in the amp. yellow and brown on the left two pins. blue and green on the right two pins. the black is hanging still. My assumption is it is a ground of some sort.
Could somebody clarify and help me out.
Thanx

...well I'll assume the new switch doesn't have the "light" inside...so no need for the other wire...simply tape it off and you should be fine....

Jeff, thanx for the post,
Yes the switch does infact have the light.
I only left the black wire hanging and turned the switch on. The light in the switch went on and the amp worked as per normal.
So thats why i had the assumption it was a ground. I will still tape it off. Thanx again.
