Marshall Cab Wiring

Hey all,

Thanks to Chopstherocker, I have a great unloaded Marshall cab in hand. I need some help with the wiring.

For the time being, I'm going to use the cab for my Bandmaster (thx Puckboy!). As this amp is designed to run at 4 ohms, my plan was to put 2 12" Tonkers in the cab (just 2 of them though). They are 8 ohms each. Now here comes the problem...I don't know how to use the Marshall switching jacks in this case (I've never worked with them in this way before). Would I just be better off to go buy a jack and wire the thing up and forget the Marshall jack? If I do buy a jack, would it be a 'guitar' type of jack or do I need a different kind?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mark

It's a JCM900 with the stereo imputs for what it's worth. I never had it together so I don't know how to wire it either.

Right, should've mentioned that! The stereo inputs are the confusing part...
