Hey guys, love this amp to death, but I can't justify keeping it when I'm not in a band and don't plan to be for some time. I put $300 into it and I'd like to get rid of it and break even. I bought the amp knowing I really couldn't afford to keep it. I need a vehicle and I need money for school.
It's a 1980 Marshall JMP 50 2204 Master Volume. It has brand new Ruby filter capacitors and brand new Electro Harmonix tubes. The tubes have maybe an hour on them. The amp was switched over to EL34 like the British Marshalls. It is all original inside except for the tube change. The amp is in pretty good condition. It is missing a logo. It has a missing front right plastic corner. The tolex is generally in good shape and it is nice and shiny. Has original power cable and back cover.
All this being said, I am a minor and cannot except paypal and I don't know the first thing about shipping an amp. I'll take cash for local pickup only. If one of you guys are in my area and want it, you have first dibs.
The cabinet is a Behringer 412. It is better than the cheap Marshall, Fender, Peavey cabs. It has Jensen speakers. It is included with the price.
