Marshall JVM 410 tolex refurb

Hi all, I've just bought a second hand Marshall JVM 410 head and 1960a cab... I picked it up pretty cheap as it has a fair bit of wear and tear to the tolex. However I'm thinking of restoring the whole chassis and possibly thinking of a different colour tolex such as purple. My only worry is if it will affect the resale value?? Or with that in mind would it be best to keep the original black tolex... Cheers and look forward to your thoughts
Also any ideas where to get the right stuff from... Or just eBay many thanks...

I’ve gotten Tolex and grill cloth from Mojotone in the past.

How good of a tolex job will have more impact than the color.

TBH, it's not very rare or collectable.....tolex to your hearts content.....colour? i'am assuming you're in the UK?

Marshall used to do retolex jobs. Being in the UK it might be worth looking into
