I hate that crap. Spending time on a reply to a completely irrelevant thread. dammit.

It was a good post. Just bookmark it and save it for the next time someone needs to be talked out of buying/modding cheap gear. It seems like a great ingredient for most delicious copy pasta.

Zombie Thread Confusion.

The MG has been gone for a while, and Raven now has two B52 4x12s, a Peavey Rockmaster tube head, and a Peavey XXX head. No purple tolex in sight...

yes sir...tube city for me now..this is hilarious..it's franken thread.

I always get suspicious whenever I see a multi-page thread that wasn't here the day before.

Thats alright, I searched for a thread I posted in, saw this, and couldnt remember posting in it.

i will let franken thread die AGAIN ,but now that some one brought it back for some reason.....thank you to each and every one of you for talking me out of this bone head thought of spending cash to improve that muddy ass cab...i took your advise and did some upgrading and none of it is purple.lol.....i like being a resident of tube city.

Raven...There is a purple one in sight. I was just browsing craigslist and seen 2 purple 1960 JCM800 Lead cabs for sale. The guy said they were custom made for him and the only ones ever made. I sent you the link, thinking you might want to have a peak at them. Sometimes things never come up, until way down the line.

another thing i dont like about it is you cant get a matching bottom cab.they only make those in black.so no full stack

I'll buy the Marshall from ya, my Peavey Windsor head is to loud for my apt... so I'm selling it..
